Expect more cold temperatures no matter where you travel in the region this weekend.
Environment Canada still has the entire Northwest under an extreme cold warning.
They predict temperatures won’t warm up until Monday, expecting it to feel like -40 to -45 all weekend.
Officials add you should be sure to bundle up since frostbite can develop in just minutes on any skin that isn’t covered up.
They’re also reminding you that the temperatures will pose more risk for young children, seniors, anyone with a chronic illness, people who work outside, and anyone without a proper shelter.
