Big Changes Called For Segregation Policy

Ontario's watchdog is calling on the province to immediately reform its flawed system of placing and tracking inmates in solitary confinement.

Ombudsman Paul Dubé's latest investigation revealed numerous issues putting vulnerable people at risk.  

Dubé's report provides 32 recommendations and includes a request that segregation be clearly defined, strictly limited, rigorously tracked and publicly reported.
