The Ministry of Natural Resources is looking for your help in find the person or persons responsible for shooting and abandoning a cow moose in early December.

The incident occurred on December 12th or 13th and the carcass was found beside a railway bed four kilometres west of Dog River Road.

A tip called in to the MNR alerted conservation officers who were able to salvage the carcass before it spoiled.

The MNR says evidence at the kill site indicated that a second moose was shot and field dressed beside the abandoned moose and later hauled away on a homebuilt trailer.
