Two Fires Overnight

Thunder Bay Fire Service says crews were kept busy overnight with a couple of fires.

The first  was a trailer fire on the 300 block of North May Street at around 2:30 this morning.   They say it was fully involved when they arrived.   While the exact cause isn't known it's believed to be suspicious in nature.  No one was hurt.

And no one is hurt after a garage fire at the rear of 467 Merrill Street in Current River.  That blaze was called in just before 4:30 am.   It was brought under control quickly, but the garage and contents were destroyed.  An investigation is underway to figure out the cause. (File photo)
