The province's hardship fund for students impacted by the college strike isn't enough according to the NDP.
MPP Peggy Sattler says that's cold comfort for students who are watching their dreams slip away.
"Who are experiencing skyrocketing rates of anxiety and depression with few resources on campus to assist them. Who are being forced to turn down job offers and are worried about how they will be able to support themselves."
Sattler wants the province to ask the two sides to go back to the bargaining table.
Currently, teachers are voting on a proposed contract with the results of the vote expected on Friday.
