The Salvation Army is calling for continued support of its Kettle Campaign. Donations are $7,000 behind this time last year.
They’re halfway through the campaign and have raised just over $72,000 of their $190,000 goal.
The Sally Ann says it’s confident it’ll reach its goal, but emphasizes the need for donations and volunteers.
It says the campaign got off to a slow start, with the stormy weather keeping people from visiting kettles.
The Kettle Campaign wraps up on December 24th. Kettles are set up at the Intercity Shopping Centre, Superstore, Grandview Mall, the Kiwanis Tree Lot, the Walmart locations at Memorial Avenue, County Fair, and Arthur Street, as well as the LCBO stores at Arthur Street, the Thunder Centre, and Dawson Road.
