Canada’s bail system and victims’ services will get greater attention from the daughter of Thunder Bay’s latest murder victim.
Following last month’s tragic death of Joseph Pruys, Brandy Oldale adds that she’s had to keep her head up and support her brother.
“I’m going to be working closely with victims’ services, they’ve been a great help,” Oldale notes, adding she’s considering calling for changes to the bail system and helping other families who have lost a loved one get closure.
She remembers her father as someone who loved his family, having come from a large family of seven brothers and sisters out of Fort Frances.
Oldale recalls Joseph Pruys loving the country and teaching her and her brother how to ride a bike.
She says she’s now a firm believer in never taking life for granted. (File Photo)
