City commercial drivers are getting a poor grade from their governing body.
The Ministry of Transportation has given the over 400 bus, garbage and other commercial vehicle drivers a grade just below satisfactory.
Fleet Services Manager Jim Suffak says they’re working on improving.
“Part of it requires some additional re-instruction to drivers which we’ve already undertaken at a certain level over the last year. In addition to updating some of our policies and procedures.”
The lower rating from the Ministry comes after a number of city commercial vehicles were involved in crashes. (File photo)
