Canadian rock band Hedley is continuing with its tour, following allegations of sexual misconduct.
In a statement, the band says it will withdraw from consideration of winning any award at the JUNOs, as it doesn’t want to be a distraction from Canada’s biggest night in music.
The group says it must do better, and intends to correct the mistakes that were allegedly made.
They acknowledge using the “rock n roll” lifestyle as an excuse is not acceptable.
As for their concert March 16th in Thunder Bay, the Fort William Gardens website still has them listed as playing.
They add cancelling the tour would be hiding, and would rather start making positive changes.
