The Fort William First Nation has signed an agreement which will see the District Health Unit provide the community with help in reducing the use of opioids and other drugs.
According to Chief Peter Collins, it's help that's badly needed.
He says the First Nation has recently lost three people to overdose deaths and he hopes this will help to create a safer environment.
The services include providing naloxone and harm reduction kits along with overdose prevention training to those in need. (Staff Photo)
