City transit service may be affected if there’s a strike by municipal employees on Tuesday.
The president of the Amalgamated Transit Union admits that in the event of a walkout picket lines will go up where-ever members of CUPE local 87 feel they should be located.
Ken Koza says in an effort to support CUPE during a possible walkout, it could result in some delays in bus service. The statement appears to imply that transit drivers may honour picket lines if they’re set up at the transit terminal on Fort William Road.
