It’s time for the Health Sciences Foundation’s Caribou Charity Ride.
Hundreds are riding their bikes from the Nor’Wester Best Western Hotel for either 50, 75 or 100 kilometers.
Hospital Foundation spokesperson Heather Vita says it’s a popular event.
Since the ride first started in 2009, the event has raised over $190,000 for cancer research that stays in the Thunder Bay area.
“This is a huge fundraiser for the Northern Cancer Fund. We have hundreds of cyclists that come out, and every year they are very generous, and contribute quite a lot for exceptional cancer care for patients right here at home.” (File Image)
