Another Child Porn Bust By City Police

A three month investigation by police has resulted in child pornography related charges being laid against a city man.

They say their investigation began in October and a home on the 100 Block of Peter Street was raided the following month. 

That's where they say they seized a computer and a USB drive which police claim contained evidence of alleged pornography involving children. 

Charged with possessing and making available child pornography is 34 year old Michael Alexander Britton.

Child Pornography Arrest

The TBPS Cyber Crime Unit began an investigation in October 2016 after an online investigation of Child Pornography. The investigation resulted in a search warrant being executed at a residence in the 100 block of Peter Street on November 2, 2016. 

Officers seized two items: a computer and a USB drive. After a complete examination of the items was conducted evidence of Child Pornography was located.

On January 27, 2016, Michael Alexander BRITTON, 34 years old was arrested and charged with Make Available Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography. He appeared in court on Saturday January 28, 2017 and has been released with a future court date.
